Pragmat has started its journey in 2004 with the resources of a man and a telephone at founder’s home mainly targeting the SME sector.

The first assignment was to prepare a credit proposal for a 100 % export oriented garment factory. The objective of the proposal was to justify the requirement of credit facility as their working capital from a public bank. The proposal had great success, our client got credit facility and we were happily paid — this is how we started writing our success story with mutual happiness.
We played catalyst role to create Prodigy Consulting Group to serve large-scale companies in Bangladesh. Some business alumni from the University of Chittagong and the Institute of Business Administration, University of Dhaka played different active roles in this initiative.

Our next initiative was to create a joint platform in collaboration with Media-mix Enterprise Ltd. Dhaka for counseling brand marketing and corporate PR services. First assignment of this platform was to conduct a promotional campaign for “DADA” through various media channels as per client’s requirements which was successfully done. DADA is a famous edible oil brand in Bangladesh owned by Industrial Group MEB who pioneers many industries in Bangladesh .
We always believe in “Business for Social Cause” and to turn this belief into reality, a semiyearly business bulletin has been published since 2007 to promote Positive Bangladesh and share contemporary Business Thoughts among the professionals and entrepreneurs.

In 2013, Pragmat has acquired 30% equity share of Microtech Steel Building & Construction Ltd., a promising PEB solution provider engaged in Design, Engineering, Fabrication, & Erection of Steel Buildings in Bangladesh.
To facilitate global trade, we have launched Impexsol Pte. Ltd. in 2015. Impexsol, based in Singapore, works to accelerate and smoothen global trading activities by providing services like sourcing industrial raw materials, financing global trading, and so on.
